Insert Music and Sound from Files

Sound or music files can be saved in many formats that can be used in PowerPoint 2007.

Your choice of sound files can be used on any slide in the presentation. Only WAV type sound files can be embedded into the presentation.
1. Locate the word Insert on the toolbar click on it.
2. Click the down arrow key under the
Audio icon on the right side of the toolbar.
3. Select Sound from File.
4. Sounds that are already saved in power point are located on the clip organizer.
5. If you have music on a CD that has a song that the selector would like to choose, insert CD make music selection then go to Play CD Audio Track, if this option is chosen, the CD of choice must be in the computer for it to work properly.

How to start the Sound?

The user is prompted to select a procedure for the use of PowerPoint 2007 to begin to play your sound or music file. The sound will began automatically once the prior input has been selected on the slide. Slide3.JPG

Change Sound File Options
In order to change some of the sound options from a sound file that you have already been inserted into the PowerPoint 2007 presentation.
1. Click on the sound file icon on the slide.
2. The top toolbar can change to the contextual menu for sound. If the toolbar does not change, click on the
Sound Tools link above the toolbar.
